Waiver Approval - End of School Year Calendar

Dear FLCS Staff, Students, and Families,
Welcome back! I hope you had a relaxing and enjoyable Spring Break. It's great to have everyone back in our buildings.
As we head into the final weeks of the semester, I'm pleased to share news regarding our school calendar. Frankton-Lapel Community Schools has been granted a waiver from the Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) for the final two days of the 2025-26 school year. This waiver was approved due to the winter storm in January.
As a result, the school year will conclude two days earlier than originally scheduled. Please note the updated dates:
- Final Student Day: Friday, May 22
- Teacher Record Day: Tuesday, May 26
Individual school buildings will communicate their specific end-of-year schedules and any additional details in the coming days.
