Mission Statement:

MISSION STATEMENT:

Empower. Encourage. Inspire.

Empowering students to be leaders

Encouraging leaders to pursue greatness

Inspiring greatness to change the world

It is so nice having everyone back in school and learning. Mr. Sanders and I walk down the halls and see great teaching happening and amazing student learning happening. This makes us so happy.

Our Patriot Day parade was a success. The front line heroes paraded around our school with special patriotic music performed by the high school band. We all learned about people in our community and in our nation who serve and protect us each day. We at FES appreciate our front line heroes.

Thanks to our Parent Club for organizing our Fun Run.

Have a great weekend,

Mrs. Gray

From the Library

FROM THE LIBRARY

1st Grade students are starting to bring home library books. They are allowed to keep them for one week. Please help them return the book each week.

Top Readers will be listed in each newsletter. When students take Reading Counts tests it will count the amount of words read. Every two weeks we will have top readers from each grade level. This first group includes from the start of school and ran through Wednesday of this week. We will also recognize the students that go over 1 million words for the year. If you have any questions, you can reach me at cdetling@flcs.k12.in.us.

EAGLE PACKS

Dear Families,

A program has been brought to Frankton Community Schools called Eagle Packs.

This program is a community mission sponsored by the local churches and community members. Each bag will contain consumable food for the weekend (breakfast, lunch, and dinner items plus 2 snacks). This is an anonymous program so your child will not be identified to students as receiving the bag.

If you are interested in having your child receive a weekend Eagle Pack

food bag, please click on the link below to enroll your child(ren) for the 2021-22 school year. You need to fill out this registration even if you received Eagle Pack bags last year. Please register ASAP

Candy Sales Updates

CANDY SALES UPDATES

The candy sale is now over! We are asking that all money be turned in as soon as possible. Mrs. Baldwin's class is the top selling class and will have a pizza party. Mrs. Qualls' class is in 2nd place. Madison Parker from Mrs. Baldwin's class was the top seller with 17 boxes. Great job Madison.

I am working on scheduling the class and individual prizes. Watch emails for more information on prizes.

Thanks to everyone who supported this sale. This will help FES get items for our school and our learning.
