FROM THE PRINCIPAL: FALL READ IN

Mark your calendars....the Fall Read In is going to be on Thursday, October 28, 2021 from 6:00

pm to 7:30pm at FES! We are going to make it great this year.

We want students to dress up and as their mask we want them to decorate a face mask(like the ones we wear each day to school). We will have a face mask decorating contest! We will give cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. This will be a great time to have fun and be creative.

Parents, as always, we could really use your help with donations of candy and canned white icing. Feel free to send in donations to the FES office.

All students and parents will need to wear a face mask for our Fall Read In. We really appreciate the support you give to our students.

Thanks,

Mrs. Gray

EAGLE PACKS

Dear Families,

A program has been brought to Frankton Community Schools called Eagle Packs.

This program is a community mission sponsored by the local churches and community members. Each bag will contain consumable food for the weekend (breakfast, lunch, and dinner items plus 2 snacks). This is an anonymous program so your child will not be identified to students as receiving the bag.

If you are interested in having your child receive a weekend Eagle Pack

food bag, please click on the link below to enroll your child(ren) for the 2021-22 school year. You need to fill out this registration even if you received Eagle Pack bags last year. Please register ASAP

A BIRD'S EYE VIEW

MARCH 11, 2020

MISSION STATEMENT:

Empower. Encourage. Inspire.

Empowering students to be leaders

Encouraging leaders to pursue greatness

Inspiring greatness to change the world

FROM THE PRINCIPAL:

Dear Parents,

It's hard to believe that we are in our last nine weeks of school. Your child's grades are able to be viewed on your ParentVue account for the 3rd 9-weeks. Please discuss the grades with your child and help him/her come up with a plan to improve them, if needed, for the end of the school year.

Please remember that online registration for the 2021-22 school year is now open. We would appreciate it if you would share this information with your family, friends, and neighbors that have children eligible for Pre-K or Kindergarten.

We will be having our Spring Picture Day on Monday, March 15th. All students will get their pictures taken that day and proofs will be sent home later. Parents may order pictures if they choose.

We all remember that a year ago we closed school due to the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. Many of us thought it would only be for a couple of weeks and had no idea that we would end the school year with e-LEARNING. Although we closed school this year the 3 days before Thanksgiving and we've had to close some classrooms due to positive COVID tests, I'm so very proud of our parents, staff, and students for working through all the challenges to keep students in school. I appreciate how we have all worked together to accomplish this for our students this year.

Don't forget to SPRING FORWARD your clocks Saturday night and remember that there is no school tomorrow due to it being a Flex Day!

Have a Great 3-Day Weekend!!

LEADING LITTLE LEARNERS

Mrs. Wise's class talks about how to put first things first at home. Students should do their homework before doing fun things like drawing or video games. We think that children should clean up their toys and the house before watching a movie with their family. Being organized is also important to put first things first so you know where your important things are around the house.

Our spotlight of the week is Mrs. Shepherd's Pre-K Class

Mrs. Shepherd’s Pre-K students are having fun working in their math journals. They have been learning about sorting and matching colors. Great work!
