Lapel High School student Mackenzie Jones led the Pledge of Allegiance.
The Board acknowledged Lapel High School which provided the information on the bulletin board for March.
The Board approved the minutes for the February 12, 2008 and February 14, 2008 school board meetings as presented.
Superintendent Ned Speicher presented the financial report for the school corporation as of February 29, 2008.
Mr. Speicher reported on the construction projects. The Board approved payment of the current construction invoices.
Mr. Speicher reported on the estimated impact of the circuit breaker tax credit legislation for Madison County Schools.
Mr. Speicher announced that the Academic Hall of Fame Induction Banquet will be held at the Anderson Country Club at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 22nd. Frankton High School will have 19 students and Lapel High School will have 17 students to be honored.
Mr. Speicher reported on the enrollment projection for the 2008-09 school year.

The Board approved the monthly claim documents as submitted.
Jerry Cunningham, Frankton, complimented the Board on the new facilities in the school corporation and the test scores for the corporation, and discussed the property tax situation.
Alan Kilburn, Jackson Township, asked the Board to consider a corporation policy on workplace relationships.
